OZIMOTO QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
THE QUESTIONS WORTH ASKING BEFORE A BUILD.
Straight answers from the Hua Hin workshop about prices, build times, conversions, sidecars, adaptive projects, rentals and ownership.
01How long does a custom trike or sidecar build take?
+
A typical build is around four to six weeks after the specification is agreed, but complexity and the current workshop schedule affect the final programme.
02How much does a trike conversion cost in Thailand?
+
Honda Click and Scoopy conversions currently start from ฿135,000. Larger platforms, custom bodywork, paint, upholstery and adaptive controls are quoted after assessment.
03Can I bring my own motorcycle for conversion?
+
Yes. Ozimoto assesses customer-owned Honda, Yamaha and other suitable motorcycles before confirming compatibility, scope and price.
04Can I test ride before buying?
+
Test rides can be arranged at the Hua Hin workshop, subject to vehicle availability and rider requirements.
05What engineering is included in a standard conversion?
+
Current Ozimoto conversion information includes an in-house rear axle assembly with a true differential, reverse gear, chassis fabrication, body integration and pre-handover safety testing.
06Can Ozimoto build adaptive controls or wheelchair-accessible configurations?
+
Projects are assessed individually. Options can include hand or foot control adaptations, seating and support changes, and wheelchair-accessible sidecar configurations.
07Will an Ozimoto conversion be road legal in my country?
+
Registration, licensing, insurance and legal requirements vary by vehicle and jurisdiction. Ozimoto does not guarantee road legality; the owner must confirm the applicable requirements before operating on public roads.
08How do I book servicing or repairs?
+
Send the model, mileage and the work required through the servicing page, or contact the workshop directly to arrange a date.
